The main learning objectives include the familiarization with the organizational phenomenon ontology in the various aspects of social life, as well as the practical exercise of students in observing and interpreting organizational aspects in the public, private business and social spheres. At the same time, familiarization with the ontology of the Greek administrative system is sought, but also the introduction of the students to a critical investigation for the interpretation of the way of organization and operation of the public administration in Greece, as well as the normative consideration of the problems and the prospects of dealing with them.
Critical investigation of some of the main theoretical approaches and directions in the study of complex organizations in the modern era. In particular, the formation of the bureaucratic phenomenon in modern society, critical theories for management and organizations, the systemic perception of modern organizations, public or non-public, issues of organizational culture, as well as administrative ethics and deontology are examined. At the same time, the application of organizational theory in administrative practice and the practical difficulties of managing and controlling complex systems are thoroughly studied. In this context, the subject of the course is the study of the organization of the public space in Greece and familiarization with the basic institutions, principles and procedures of organization and operation of the Greek administrative system. Study of the literature and analysis of the cases are combined with practical training.
