ENVIRONMENTAL AND LABOR LAW – MEDICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL LIABILITY

Learning objectives
- Familiarisation of postgraduate students with the basic concepts, sources and general principles of environmental law and labor law.
- Recognizing complex interpretations of work accident and compensation.
- Description of principles of environmental law and drafting of an environmental impact report.
- Providing the possibility of research and critical evaluation of the relevant legislative regulations - revisions and options.
- Introduction and familiarization with the relevant administrative procedures and structures.
Course content
- Introduction to the sources and general principles of environmental law (concept, characteristics, fundamental distinctions, historical development and future challenges), analysis of the sources and general principles of environmental law, reference to environmental protection tools (with particular emphasis on the environmental licensing process), introduction to judicial protection in environmental law disputes.
- Participation in decision-making processes – Access to environmental information – Environmental Control Mechanisms, Judicial protection in environmental law, Law of protection of the atmosphere, Law of water protection, Law of waste.
- Labor principles, human rights, labor rules, equality, principles of labor law, sources (Constitution, International Conventions, European Law, law, ethics, Collective Labor Agreements (CBA), arbitration awards, union statutes and labor regulations. Issues of ethics, duties and interdisciplinary relationships of health professionals in the practice of the profession
